Fleeturio helps car owners and fleet operators keep track of their vehicles, drivers, trips and payroll. Doing that means we hold data about you and your team, so this page explains what we store, why we store it, who else touches it, and how to get it removed. If anything here is unclear, email us at privacy@fleeturio.com and a person will answer.
What we store
- Your account. Name, email, phone number, role and business name. Your password is stored as a one-way hash — we couldn't read it even if we wanted to.
- Your fleet. Vehicles, drivers, trips, mileage logs, fault reports, service history, payroll records, and any documents you upload — insurance papers, registrations and the like.
- Locations. When a driver logs a trip or a manager requests a live position, the driver's phone sends GPS coordinates. Location is the point of the product — but it is only collected through the app's tracking features, and drivers can see when it happens.
- Technical bits. IP address, browser type, and the device token that lets us send push notifications.
- Billing. Your plan and payment status. Card numbers go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.
What we do with it
We use this data to run the service you signed up for: signing you in, showing your fleet, sending the alerts you asked for, and building payroll from the trips your drivers logged. We also keep audit logs of important actions so account activity can be traced if something goes wrong. That's the whole list — we don't sell your data, we don't rent it out, and we don't run ads.
Who else is involved
A few services help us run Fleeturio. Each one only gets the data it needs for its job:
- Railway and Amazon Web Services — host the application and its database.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments.
- Google Firebase — delivers push notifications to phones.
- Resend / Amazon SES — send login codes and email alerts.
- PostHog — product analytics, on European servers, and only if you turn on analytics cookies. It sees which pages and steps you use, never your fleet data. See our Cookie Policy.
If you're a driver
The account you drive under belongs to your fleet owner or manager. They can see your trips, mileage entries, reported faults, chat messages and payroll records, because managing those is what they use Fleeturio for. Questions about why your employer tracks something should go to them first — they decide what goes into the system. If you believe something about you should be corrected or deleted, contact us and we'll help sort it out with them.
How long we keep things
As long as your account is active. Close your account and we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days — except invoices and billing records, which tax rules require us to keep longer.
How it's protected
Every request is checked against your role and your organization, so one company can never read another's data. Passwords are hashed with Argon2, sessions live in httpOnly cookies that page scripts can't read, two-factor authentication is available for privileged accounts, and everything travels over HTTPS.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@fleeturio.com from the address on your account and we'll take care of it. If you live somewhere with a data-protection authority you can also complain to them — though we'd rather you talk to us first so we can fix the problem.
When this page changes
We'll update the date at the top. If a change actually matters — new data collected, new provider involved — we'll tell you in the app or by email rather than hoping you re-read this page.
